This guide will make it easier for landowners and producers to access these programs and take conservation action.

Rangeland Health Assessment Field Workbook - Native Grassland and Forest
Rangeland is land supporting indigenous or introduced vegetation that is either grazed or has the potential to be grazed and is managed as a natural ecosystem, including grassland, grazeable forestland, shrubland, pastureland and riparian areas. This workbook contains sections on native grassland and forest range health assessment methodology. It is intended as a tool for livestock producers, resource managers, agency staff, energy companies, protected area managers and anyone with an interest in the conservation and maintenance of rangeland plant communities to assess rangeland health and use rangeland in a sustainable manner.

Riparian Health Assessment Field Workbook - Lakes, Slough & Wetlands and Streams & Small Rivers
Healthy, functional riparian areas provide an array of goods and services for landowners and society as a whole. This workbook contains a methodology for assessing the health of lotic riparian areas (i.e. riparian areas adjacent to flowing water). It was written for those people who can most effectively influence riparian areas with their management - landowners, livestock producers, farmers, agency staff and others who use and value these green zones.

- Forage U-Pick Tool: An interactive Dryland Forage Species Adaptation program has been developed to assist land managers in selecting the correct forage species best suited to their land. Information can be accessed by defining specific criteria including, but not limited to, soil zone, salinity, desired use and timing of use, soil texture, stand longevity and soil pH. Forty-five species, both tame and native, are included.

- South of the Divide Access Authorization & Field Researcher Protocol - The South of the Divide Access Authorization & Field Work Protocol was written with input from, and at the request of, the SoD Stakeholder Committee, a group of over twenty organizations that have been working with the federal-provincial Steering Commitee on the South of the Divide multi-species Action Plan Project, over the past three years.
