What is a Speed Dating Case Study?
It is when a group of people who don’t know each other work together to solve a problem or brainstorm solutions to a scenario. This is done in a timed manner, and participants will cycle through four case studies.
Goals:
- to facilitate networking amongst workshop participants
- to share ideas and perspectives from a diversity of workshop participants
- to get hands dirty with a real world restoration/reclamation scenario
We are delighted to have 14 tables available. Groups of 5-8 people will work through 4 scenarios. Each group will have 15 minutes per table, 3 minutes of an introduction and 12 minutes to work through the scenario.
SK PCAP and the Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Workshop planning committee decided in lieu of speaker gifts or a donation to grassland related fund, that we would create a grant to contribute to an on-the-ground, small scale restoration project or a restoration-related research project.
2024 Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Grant Criteria is offered again in 2024.
Submit your application before January 25th!
