2017 Native Prairie Appreciation Week

Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate Saskatchewan's 19th Native Prairie Appreciation Week June 18-24, 2017!

Jointly proclaimed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environment, Native Prairie Appreciation Week (NPAW) is a weeklong celebration dedicated to raising awareness of our valuable grassland ecosystems across Saskatchewan. 

NPAW is celebrated across the province with a variety of events, including awareness booths at Farmer's Markets, a social media campaign, a photo contest, and more!

SK PCAP once again hosted their Youth Poster Contest! There were more than 220 entries in the following age categories: under age 6, ages 7-10, ages 11 & up.
